VST instruments can also be used as a replacement of the sound source files. The result can be played back through your sound card or written to the wave file. With SynthFont you can also create an audio file (WAV, MP3, OGG, APE, FLAC) from Your MIDI file. SynthFont main source was sound, but also a soundfonts wave files, DLS and GIGA files.
SynthFont supports the use of both VST effects and instruments. SynthFont has some basic editing capabilities SoundFont and also shows data a MIDI in the Piano.
